After a complicated few days of assessing security, packing up clothes and essentials for a year's stay in a faraway land, and bidding farewell to friends a family--she's off to her new adventure. Ron took her to the airport in his usual good style, stopping along the way for her to give Sean yet another hug. I'll be joining her next week!
Meanwhile, I just received a text message from her (thank the gods and goddesses for modern day communication devices): Just landed safely in Delhi. Love you guys.
We feel satisfied, excited--and relieved!
